Same-Sex Parenting Across Europe: What Difference does the Legal Recognition of Same-Sex Unions Make?

This panel discussion will emphasize the importance that legal recognition of same-sex unions has on same-sex parenting in Europe. During the panel, experiences of same-sex parents from different parts of Europe with different legal regulations of same-sex unions will be exchanged. Moreover, themes such as acceptance, discrimination and position of children of same-sex couples in different parts of Europe will be discussed. This panel will have four panellists, each of them being parents in a same-sex partnership: from a Western European country, from the Eastern bloc, and from the Balkans.
