Creating Safe Spaces for LGTBI+ Migrants, Refugees and Asylum Seekers - Perspectives from the Ground

This panel will provide the opportunity to representatives of organizations which successfully provide safe spaces for LMRA in Europe to share their experiences and ways of how their LGBTI+ organizations achieved success in opening up for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers who are LGBTI+. The panel will cover a wide geographic perspective, each showcasing a unique experience, with speakers coming from Lebanon, Serbia, Italy and Sweden. The speakers, including social workers, phycologists, lawyers and activists, will all share their different views and examples of good practices for successfully integrating LGBTI+ migrants into their respective organisations and, furthermore, societies.
